Veteran campaigner Liza Del Rosario made her presence felt after topping the first block of the women’s division in the prestigious 2014 Bowling World Cup being held at the Sky Bowling Center in Wroclaw, Poland. Del Rosario scored 1,195 pinfalls in the five-game first block to grab the pole in the 70-player field. She had an average of 239.0 with a high game of 287. Former World Masters titlist Biboy Rivera also got off to a good start in the men’s division as he earned No. 2 position. He submitted 1,203 pinfalls on 240.60 average per game. The Top 24 players after the four-block qualifying stage will advance to the next round.
