PRETORIA, South Africa: Oscar Pistorius has sold the upmarket Pretoria home where he shot dead his girlfriend, his estate agent said on Friday, amid mounting legal fees resulting from a lengthy murder trial. “We have a buyer,” Ansie Louw told Agence France-Presse, adding “we went through all the offers. We have accepted one of the bids and the transfer process is now under way.” The house, valued at upwards of $480,000, was put on the market earlier this year as the “Blade Runner” struggled to pay a small army of lawyers who are fighting murder charges on his behalf. They include three of South Africa’s leading defense attorneys, a raft of ballistics and forensic experts, and an American crime scene reconstruction company. The total cost is estimated at $9,000 a day. His trial, initially slated to last three weeks is now in its third month.
