The Philippine National Bank (PNB) announced at its annual stockholders’ meeting on May 31 the appointment of Edgar Cua and Carmen Tan as new members of the Bank’s Board of Directors.

Cua brings with him 30 years of experience in the banking industry, where he held various advisory and managerial roles at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) including its resident missions in Beijing and Jakarta. He was also previously a Staff Consultant of SGV & Co. Mr. Cua holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree (Honors Program) from the Ateneo de Manila University and a Masters of Arts in Economics degree & a Masters of Planning Urban and Regional Environment degree from the University of Southern California. He also took advanced courses in Chinese from the Beijing Language and Culture University and Leadership for Sustainable Development Initiative in Cambridge University.
