PNoy, the master surrender artist and the Iglesia ni Cristo

Goodbye my PNoy goodbye.
You will not come back again,
You will not come back again,
Goodbye my PNoy, do not cry.”

Benigno Simeon C. Aquino 3rd also known as PNoy is the master surrender artist among all who sat on the Palace throne. More than any President of the Philippines, he has developed surrender into an art. Whenever he meets a powerful adversary, he immediately surrenders, almost without even asking the questions how much and at what cost.

In the recent INC demonstrations over the so-called issue of separation of Church and State and the exercise of freedom of religion, in a matter of five days PNpy surrendered to the INC to the consuming delight of its members, chanting in effect, “We won, we won!” The chant is obviously clear – the INC won the day.

PNoy surrendered to the power of the INC, real or imagined. PNoy, in effect, went to Canossa, prostrate and helpless, before the towering figure of Eduardo Manalo, the INC God’s representative on Earth, at the sacrifice of the honor of the presidency and the impregnability of the Constitution. To PNoy the Constitution is nothing but a scrap of paper just as long as he can get the support of the block voting power of the INC for his presidential candidate, Mar Roxas, in the presidential elections of 2016 (if it comes) and at the sacrifice of the honor of his Department of Justice (DOJ) and the fate of the literally colorful headed DOJ secretary, Leila De Lima.

The sitting President was able to wiggle out of his dilemma by sacrificing De Lima at the altar of the INC. Seeing the sad looking De Lima in the pictures appearing in the papers during the limited Cabinet meeting to resolve the impasse, it was clear that De Lima became a sacrificial lamb to be thrown to the lions in the INC arena.

The pathological liars among the PNoy spinners, including some members of the Cabinet, like Abad and De Lima, are trying hard to tell the public that there is no deal between PNoy and the INC. Why do they continue to lie and attempt to fool the people? It is even obvious to the more intelligent high school students. As Abraham Lincoln put it so well, you can fool all the people some of the time; some of the people all the time; but you can never fool all the people all the time. Not even the science and art of Joseph Goebbels in making lies the truth, if repeated very often, work in this case.

PNoy and INC – joint losers

PNoy and INC are joint losers in this case. But in the case of PNoy, it only confirms his being the master artist of surrender. In the case of the INC, its claims to intelligence, complete unity, and moral and religious purity have been unmasked by the Samson complaints. The INC will never be the same. It proved itself hollow like the other religious sects that claim to be the direct representatives of God on this Earth.

INC showed its physical strength in terms of numbers. It had crowds better than the traditional politicians could muster. But its claim to unity was hit by temblors that registered 7.3 in the Richter scale. Its claim to a block vote in every election is starting to vanish as fast as its crowds came to EDSA. Its moral authority crumbled with Samson’s and others’ claims of graft and corruption.

This is the problem with religious sects in this country; they smell more of business than of religion.

With respect to intelligence – the ability to effectively manipulate people, the reason of the demos as freedom of religion and separation of Church and State — is an overwhelming show of ignorance of the inviolability of the separation of Church and State under section 6, Article II of the Constitution and the free exercise of religion under section 5, Article III of the Constitution.

Take these as hypothetical examples. If Eduardo Manalo, the head of the INC, commits rape on one of his followers, cannot the Department of Justice entertain the complaint of the victim simply because it would be a violation of the separation of Church and State and it is an exercise of freedom of religion? Of course, that is a lot of nonsense and any lawyer who claims that the DOJ should not entertain the complaint because it would be a violation of the doctrine of separation of Church and State and curtailment of the freedom of freedom should be sent back to elementary school and disbarred from the practice of law for gross stupidity and irremediable ignorance.

Suppose if Mike Velarde, the flamboyant head of El Shaddai, the religious sect, would be charged with estafa by one of its members before the DOJ, cannot the DOJ accept the complaint because it would be interference on religious freedom and the doctrine of separation of Church and State? Of course not! The DOJ should go through with the process otherwise the DOJ secretary and other officials would be charged with violation of the Anti-Graft Law and Corrupt Practices Act (RA 3019) and the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards of Government Officials and Employees (RA 6713).

And poor PNoy, who must have been trembling at the sight of the demonstration, surely consumed several packs of cigarettes before he signed the terms of surrender –whether by ink or lips to lips.

The art of surrender

He was only running true to form. When China occupied the West Philippine Sea, all the poor guy could do was met the Chinese invasion of the shoals with abysmal silence – Surrender!

When the Malaysians pummeled the followers of the Sultan of Sulu in Sabah, PNoy – the surrender artist – sided with the Malaysians and threw the Filipinos to the Malaysian wolves, helpless and without protection. Again, surrender!

When the MILF –Iqcbal, Murad, Jaafar and company – wanted a piece of the Republic so they could exploit the natural resources meant for Filipinos and establish a base of the Muslim Universal Caliphate in the Philippines with ISIS and ISIL fighters, he gave them territory, powers of sovereignty, the FAB, the CAB and his version of the BBL on a silver platter – in blatant violation of the Philippine Constitution. Another case of scandalous and blatant surrender!

When the Americans wanted to install their forces, temporary or permanent, in the Philippines complete with nuclear weapons in violation of section 8 of Article II of the Constitution, PNoy surrendered to the Americans – delighted and ecstatic.

When the Japanese Prime Minister made an unacceptable and left-handed apology to the people of the countries where their soldiers arrested and maintained comfort women during the Second World War, PNoy the surrender artist accepted the insulting apology on the claim that Japan is our friend.

Surrender! Surrender! And surrender! That’s all PNoy knows. Of course, he also surrenders to his autistic nephew, Joshua, in the computer games. But to the help, PNoy has nothing but a smirk and a sneer! What a President! What a country!

Do we still have the best, brightest, the bravest, the committed, the clean and competent? Well, he is still around – waiting for his next move, like in a chess game, to create his own season for the people and the country. Good luck and good hunting!

  1. I thought Mr. Adaza is bright and brilliant but this article proves otherwise. He might be right in saying that the President is the “master surrender artist” but he commented further of the INC issue which he has no knowledge about, or at he most, he has the least information about the beliefs of INC.

Samson was expelled because, among those who were expelled, he was one of the source of disunity. You must understand that people like him are expelled to maintain the unity of the church and it is still and will always be united.

To those who are laughing at us because we were “20,000 only “. You are wrong! WE ARE ONE!

  2. Carl Cid Inting on

PNoy is a master at capitulation. There is no religion that he wouldn’t capitulate to.

  3. The INC were out to blackmail the gov’t. Realizing that they were made fools, 9 locales (lokal sa Tagalog) in Laguna disobeyed and ignored the order to assemble in EDSA. As late as Monday night, the leaders in EDSA were being fed excuses of traffic, police blockades, diverted roads, whathaveyou when a lot of others like Laguna simply did not heed the orders. The leadership cannot ex-communicate them all. They were too many.

To save face, they announced the end of the “vigils” the next morning because in their planned display of strength they instead showed their weakness.

After continuously chanting “We are one” it must’ve dawned on them the opposite is happening and their end is imminent. May pacountdown-countdown pa na 10, 9, 8… etc hanggang “one”. Tapos “we are one” naman ang sigawan. One million. Sana. Inaasahan nila ISANG MILYON ang dadagsa. Mag-uumaga na, 20,000 pa rin ang bilang.

It was a show of farce.

  4. TUMPAK! —————-:

    Quote

The quotation of the biblical passage by an INC member regarding the occupation of EDSA is misapplied.
A meek, not weak, disciple of Christ Jesus, comes down to their knees and pray.
When Peter, the apostle of Christ cut the ear of the Roman soldier with a sword, the Lord rebuked Peter and restored the cut off ear of the soldier.
The EDSA occupation is not a demonstration of meekness as Christ commands His followers.
The occupation of EDSA was a display of arrogance and political power – not an act of a praying follower of Christ that offered His life at the Cross of Calvary for the ransom of many.

    • i agree with you Mr Gabuna, INC’s EDSA Shrine rally is not about faith, but to show off how powerful they are. INC is the Asia’s anti-Christ organization, which the Filipino politicians should not support nor ask from their support.

  7. When INC was calling for ‘Separation of Church and State’ during that brief stint in EDSA, it was really calling for Pnoy and his yellow team not to mingle in the church’s affairs by playing dirty – using the DoJ for their ulterior motives. Pnoy’s plan of forcing the church to support his presidential candidate is an open secret that this writer should have considered if he is not biased and hateful towards INC. Shame on you, Mr. Adaza. I believe you have lost your credibility to tackle this issue.

  8. Filipinos are purist except for a few they marry within, they are surist, believers of God and the underworld covering all the bases. They have the brain but not the will to use it. How can modern men believe in a 2000 year old book that condones slavery, murder, adultery and numerous examples of perversion. The bible is one of the greatest literary work of our time but the word of God? The priest invented the fear of God so ancient man pays them the way to Disney heaven or burn in hell if you don’t have credit. Politicians court religious leaders because they have canned voters, the powers of king makers, these voters are smart and educated but most are illiterate and destitute and they accept what their religious leaders tells them because they want to belong. Religion is the cause of wars waged by old men using young men to keep them in power and politicians are doing the same. The youth of this nation needs to recognize the evil these people are perpetuating and rise against it.

  9. INC will be Philippines BIG problem, much worse than NPA, MILF, MNLF, BIFF and AbuSayyaf.. Im assure of that

  11. For the first time nanginginig mga pinuno ng Iglesia ni Manalo.. Tigilan nyo pag sigaw ng separation of Church and State kung mahilig din naman nyo ibida ang nakakasukang Block Voting nyo, which it leads to corruption.

  13. If this is the so called daang matuwid of pnoy, voters should watch out for those who will be following the same “path”.

  14. I am amazed by the incomprehensible world that you live in your mind. You have been gifted with a brilliant mind but sadly, you have opted to use it unceasingly to spin stories and pass it off as gospel truth. “What a tangled web we weave when at first we begin to deceive”.

    • Surely you mean well speculated, because that’s all this embittered political has-been did, speculate on the hooliganism perpetrated by that cult. What did PNoy surrender to that cult that made them hallucinate that they won, btw? Did he fire DOJ Sec. Leila de Lima as that cult demanded? Certainly not. In fact, the criminal charges filed against 8 cult leaders will push through to the delight of expelled Iglesia minister Samson. So who lost? Obviously the cult, fearing the mounting rage of the public against their hooliganism.

  15. The Iglesia ni Cristo never said that no one could file a case against a member. What She complained about was the precipitated importance given by the Justice Secretary to an expelled member when the lady is supposed to be doing the “FIFO” or “First In, First Out” manner of handling cases. We never said that the so-called law on separation of church and state cannot be subjected to any argument. What we merely said is the fact that it is inviolable based on long standing decisions of the Supreme Court itself.

    • Wow, never saw INC complained about the so called “FIFO” when DOJ acting on the whole Chris Brown issue, now that is something the DOJ should not have spent time on.

And it’s funny considering that DOJ only accepted the complaint of the the said detained member and didn’t even acted on it yet. Does this mean that DOJ can’t accept any filing of complaint until all cases should be solved first?

And about the separation of the church and state? How hypocritical can you get?

May tinatago talaga, halatang halata. Nag pa uto pa kayo kay Binay

    • if i agree on your comments, then im deaf listening what your brothers & sisters uttered during the demonstration aired by tv stations. mentioned clearly is separation of church and state. you guys said not to interfere solely affairs of your church. be advised that case of kidnapping is not internal to your religious belief. it’s criminal in character and require attention by the state. don’t be like a sheep. you know, just follow what your leaders are saying. youre given mind to think and analyze and please utilize the same.

  16. I will tell you something that most filipino is not aware of. PNOY and his sister Kris has PTSD (Post Truamatic Stress Disorder). Seeing their father was horribly assasinated in broad daylight caused them to acquired PTSD. Looked what happened to Kris” Magulo ang buhay ” I know for a fact this is PTSD because I am suffering from this disorder after seeing so many Viet cong, South Vietnamese and American soldiers dead, I was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam War. I was discharged and found out by US Veteran Affairs that I am suffering from PTSD due to my experiences in Vietnam while I was still in the US military. PTSD is in my opinion equivalent to Tagalog “Sumpong” or “tantrums”. I am not a medical psychaiatrist but to me these siblings had PTSD based on their traumatic experienced with the murder of their father.

    • I am acquainted with PTSD subject since I underwent a decade long studies on Inner Healing and Deliverance.
I have a friend, U.S. Army Colonel that holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychiatry.
Months before the invasion of Iraq, led by U.S.A. and her allies of the Coalition of the Coerced, Col F and I had feisty exchanges in our eMails.
I vehemently argued that it is grossly wrong – morally and legally wrong – to assault Iraq when Iraqis did no wrong against America. Neither harmed American allies except the invasion of Kuwait over oil claims.
My decade long warm friendship with Col F turned cold owing to deep agreements.
Five years later, I received an unknown eMail addess with one word message, “Hi”.
To my complete surprise the sender was Col F. I responded if she got her star rank after all she went on tour of duty in Iraq.
I got a sober reply indicating she resigned from her military commission.
After handling several PTSD cases, her conscience bothered her.
One account that Col F confirmed is the story of a distressed father that his son, a U.S. Marine lost his mind.
It was not the shell shocks that caused the lose of sanity of the subject U.S. soldier; but, his conscience bothered him so much how iniquitous the war is against Iraq.
His unit was sent on patrol on daytime, but his unit behaved cowardly for his unit commander ordered to open fire a group of teenage kids with Cal .50 Machine Guns, when the former were just armed with stones and slingshots defending their homes being sprayed with canon fire from war tanks.
Demy, I concur with your observation on PTSD symptoms.

  17. Pinoy did his job as a president to listen to what the people have to say not just in social networks or any papers but in actual events . I am an INC member I believe that IF Pnoy ignored the voice of the INC he will be writing his own history as the most incompetent President of the Phil. Republic as more INC members will storm Manila from all over the Phils. and the world . We are law abiding citizens most of us are common people (farmers , regular employee, maids , Tindera , mambabalot ,mananahi , etc…) not born with silver spoons but we value our faith more than we value our lives .We will be united now and in the years to come , we are one with God !

On other hand , why don’t you ask yourself if Pnoy did not take the step to talk to INC , how will his legacy be remembered by the people? By different Religious groups ? He only has less than a year before his legacy ends. INC will be there for a lifetime .

If you people cannot see it by now , you never will . Marami nang beses tinangkang ibagsak at gayahin ang INC but all of them FAILED . Glory to GOD . Long live INC!

“Huwag kang matakot, sapagka’t ako’y sumasaiyo; huwag kang manglupaypay, sapagka’t ako’y iyong Dios; aking palalakasin ka; oo, aking tutulungan ka; oo, aking aalalayan ka ng kanang kamay ng aking katuwiran.” Isaiah 41 :9

In your own very words parang nananakot ka? well ganyan naman kau mga KULTO ni Manalo, mahilig manakot.

You and your INC members are lucky because the President we have now does not have BALLS and what he knows right is to SURRENDER

    • danilo de leon on

i dont have any issue with the inc. they have their own faith and belief system and i respect and admire their cohesiveness and sense of community. i would just like to be enlightened with their tri-color banner they use during their 5 day protest action. it was imprinted with the menorah. could anyone tell me the significance of this uniquely religious jewish symbol in relation with the inc faith and belief system? does the inc use this object during their religious rites and services?anyone please?

    • Did you know what the two sides talk about? If not, then you’re speculating and defending INC like a robot. INC’s detractors and enmies don’t need to bring the Cult down. It’s self-destructing. Eight out of 10 members of the Sanggunian (Council) being charged is no joke. Worse, many suspect that your leader was part of it or could be the mastermind.

    • Kabayan, if your congregation “fought” for separation of church and state, how come your religious organization is into block voting?
If you are for church and state separation, I wonder if your business establishments operating under the umbrella of your religious cloak is paying the right taxes to the government?
If indeed your church is advocating for separation of church and state, how come your lobbying activities in putting your members in key government positions is very much evident?
I find your church’s official pronouncement strange when your collective behaviour points out contrary to your claims?

  18. The great Homo is back. We don’t really know what the deal was. It could be INC that surrendered. As for Mike Velarde, he was also accused of corruption by his own members but the cases went nowhere. Velarde was even involved in that C-5 Road Extension scam.

    • No, the INC clearly did not surrender. If so then DeLima would have been aggressively pursuing Samson’s case. That’s why Samson’s lawyers are worried now bec. more than a week has passed and there’s no case being spoken of. Quiet na ang DoJ sa issue. That, by all indication is a victory by the INC imo.

  19. I TRULY AGREE WITH YOU Bono,

I will watch again the movie – “SAMSON & Leila de LIM NA”

If Secretary DE LIMA wanted to be a senator – now is the
time to show that she has balls.

RESIGN IN PROTEST AGAINST THE INC DEALS.

    • De L:im Na has balls than Homo, the bigmouth starting from his “Laban” days? I already told the moderator about this and he kept on erasing my info for the public to discern.
