THE Philippine National Police (PNP) will conduct security assessment when the campaign period for local candidates in upcoming national and local elections starts next week as part of its continuing campaign for peaceful and orderly polls.

PNP chief, Director Gen. Ricardo Marquez has been going around the country in the past weeks to check on the security preparations of various police units for the coming synchronized national and local election on May 9, 2016.
