CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga: Central Luzon Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Director Supt. Rudy Lacadin said the campaign to cleanse police personnel will be intensified to regain the public’s trust and confidence. The program is in line with Interior Secretary Mel Senen Sarmiento’s directive to reform the rank and file of the PNP. From January to October, a total of 127 administrative cases have been filed against 152 personnel, nine of whom are Commissioned Officers and the remaining 143 are Non-Commissioned Officers. Based on records from the Discipline Law and Order Section, 37 personnel were dismissed while 52 were suspended and 11 were demoted. Meanwhile, 34 were exonerated from their administrative cases. Lacadin added that those meted with disciplinary action were given due process before a final decision was released.
