PNP launches NEW apps to report crime, red tape


THE 160,000-strong Philippine National Police (PNP) is now virtually at the public’s fingertips as its launched on Wednesday a new mobile application aimed at reducing red tape and support the anti-drug campaign of President Rodrigo Duterte. Chief Supt. Edwin Jose Nemenzo, PNP-Information Technology Management Service director, said the new mobile application called iSerbis can be downloaded in mobile phones and gadgets for free. He explained that the mobile apps features infographics, updates on the PNP ‘Project Double Barrel,’ information on how to report crimes and common modus operandi, emergency hotlines and links to other PNP application.
