The PNP spokesman, Chief Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac, said that police unit and regional commanders have been instructed to secure all vital installations, economic key points and places of convergence.
The heightened alert is also meant to ensure the highest state of police operational readiness especially during the SONA.
Sindac said around 10,000 policemen during those three events.
A 7,000-strong force will be deployed around the Batasan Pambansa complex where Aquino will deliver his SONA, while 3,000 will be placed on standby at Camp Crame.
