PNP takes Pemberton’s DNA swab, fingerprints samples


THE Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory on Thursday took swab samples for Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) testing of US Marine Private First Class Joseph Scott Pemberton, the lone suspect in the slaying of Jeffrey “Jennifer” Laude on October 11. Led by Chief Supt. Theresa Ann Cid, the team arrived at the Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) compound in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City at 1:58 p.m. to take buccal swab and fingerprints which was witnessed by Olongapo City Prosecutor Emily Fe Delos Santos. The Camp Commander, Brig. Gen. Arthur Ang, facilitated the entry of the group inside the MDB-SEB facility.
