PNP Chief Director General Ricardo Marquez on Monday said the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) are studying A video that went viral over the weekend on social media showing several men indiscriminately firing their guns during New Year’s revelry. “Once the video has been authenticated that it was shot and taken in the country, the [Philippine National Police] will launch a manhunt [for]them so that we can file appropriate and necessary charges,” Marquez said. The PNP chief expressed confidence they will be able to identify and locate the suspects. Meanwhile, data released by the PNP National Operation Center recorded at least 54 stray-bullet-incidents since December 16, 2015. Of these, 41 people were wounded. The figure is lower, compared to 64 incidents reported, with 46 injured and killed in 2014.
