• PNP upgrades database system


    THE Philippine National Police on Wednesday has upgraded its Automated Fingerprint Identification System, the police force main instrument in storing and identifiying fingerprints that it uses in solving crimes. The director of the PNP Crime Laboratory Service Chief Supt. Theresa Ann Cid said phase-II of the system will increase the capacity of their data base in storing files from one million to five million fingerprints.
