PHILIPPINE Sports Commission Chairman Richie Garcia was appointed Chief of Mission of the Philippine Delegation to the 17th Asian Games to be held on September 19 to October 4, 2014 in Incheon, South Korea.
Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) Secretary-General Steve Hontiveros, who relayed the appointment by POC head Jose Cojuangco dated August 29, said that the designation came early to give the Philippines ample time to prepare.
