Unbeaten BanKo Perlas will have an unlikely ally in Pocari-Air Force when it faces an equally surging PetroGazz in a virtual knockout match for a Final Four berth at the close of the quarterfinal round of the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Reinforced Conference on Wednesday.
The Lady Warriors scored an expected 25-22, 25-17, 25-20 romp over the Tacloban Fighting Warays late Saturday to finish the single round quarters at 4-1. But the defending champions still have to await the result of the Spikers (4-0)-Angels (3-1) duel on Wednesday to determine the two other teams to join Creamline and PayMaya in the semifinal round.
