THE Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) cancelled the license of Non-Stop Employment Corporation for allegedly misrepresenting a household service worker bound for Kuwait. POEA chief Hans Leo Cacdac said that the Non-Stop Employment Corp. has committed misrepresentation after it failed to pay the worker’s monthly salary as indicated in the employment contract. The POEA said the worker was promised a salary of US$400 a month but her Kuwaiti employer paid her 65 Kuwaiti dinars equivalent to US$112.

  1. Too much maltreatment and abusive Kuwaitis treating our OFW household workers as slaves, their is no human rights representative, an as a Kingdom, they behold themselves as also ruler. So to stop the flight of killing our household help, better to completely stop sending maid. Instead sent workers who are with skilled or professionals to avoid death and torture. We always see Filipino maid being abuse. Indonesian, Thailand, and Myanmmar, already stop sending maid. It’s a tough call but better than sorry after all.

    • This is should be a wake up call for the Philippine government to CREATE JOBS within. and STOP this POLITICAL HULABALOO.
