JOINT police and military operatives arrested a member of the New People’s Army (NPA) extorting money from villagers in Tinambac town in Camarines Sur province, a police official said over the weekend. Senior Supt. Primo Golingay Jr., Camarines Sur police chief, in a report identified the arrested rebel collector as Angelito Ramos alias Ador. Ramos was arrested by member of the Camarines Sur Provincial Police Office led by Insp. Larry Bremen and the Army’s 42nd Infantry Battalion (42nd IB) led by 1st Lt Edwin Guardacasa during joint patrol operation.
