POLICE OFFICER SLAPPED WITH GRAFT CHARGE

A police colonel was slapped with graft charges yesterday before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court for allegedly including the name of a Hong Kong national as one of the respondents in the anti-human trafficking case which he endorsed to be filed before the Department of Justice two years ago. Supt. Honorio Agila formerly with the anti-fraud and commercial crimes division of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Camp Crame was charged with violation of section 3 (e) of Republic Act 3019 (anti-graft and corrupt practices act). The case was filed based on the recommendation of Graft Investigation & Prosecution Officer Dyna Camba.
