The Caloocan police on Wednesday admitted that it is having a hard time identifying the killer of Teresa Yap, mother of Angelica Yap who is more popularly known as “Pastillas girl.”
But the police vowed to intensify efforts to identify the killer to give justice to the victim.
The Yap family expressed hope that the city police headed by Senior Supt. Bartolome Bustamante will be bale to track the gunman and arrest him soon.
Teresa was shot point blank by a lone suspect in an eatery along Tagaytay St. in Brgy. 131 on Sunday evening. She later died in a hospital.
The suspect immediately fled after the incident.
The Yap family strongly believes that the killing of Teresa was purely personal and had nothing to do with her work as a councilor of Barangay 127.
Teresa is separated from her husband and she reportedly had a boyfriend.
