• Policeman honored for solving sensational crime in Cavite


    BACOOR CITY: The police chief of Bacoor City who solved a sensational crime last year received a certificate of recognition from Mayor Strike Revilla on Wednesday at the Bacoor City Hall Auditorium here. Cavite Police Supt. Rommel Estolano and his team captured Felizardo Pagulayan, the country’s 10th most wanted criminal and leader of the notorious Pagulayan Kidnap for Ransom Group at Bahayang Pagasa in Molino town on November 5, 2013. Pagulayan, who has a P500,000 bounty on his head, and cohorts Danilo Edralin Glipa and Anthony Peralta kidnapped Victor Josue Tuibeo y Samson and sought a P60 million ransom. Tuibeo was held captive for 22 days in an apartment in Molino before the police rescued him. Confiscated from the suspects were various firearms, ammonitions, ATM cards and other identification cards.
