A NOTORIOUS police officer who had been robbing foreigners in Ermita and Malate area was finally arrested on Monday. PO1 Reggie Dominguez, who was last posted at Police Station 9 in Malate, was nabbed at the house of his live-in partner along Paz Street in Paco at about 6 p.m. Chief Inspector Arsenio Riparip, head of Manila Police General Assignment and Investigation Section, said Manila police have been monitoring Dominguez but it was the elements of the Special Action Force of the National Capital Region Police Office who conducted the raid and served the warrant. Dominquez took P1.8 million from a Japanese and US$4,000 from an American identified as Adam Miller on May 11. The Japanese left the country without filing a case unlike Miller. Investigation showed that Dominguez apprehended his victims and invited them to board his Toyota Revo vehicle where he robbed them.
