Pope Francis on Friday called on the country's leaders to reject corruption and prioritize the poor who are suffering from "scandalous social inequalities."
After a private meeting with President Benigno Aquino 3rd, Francis minced no words in calling for a more just society in the country, where nearly a quarter of its 100 million population lives in poverty.
