• Power dominates Ghost Ballers in BIG3 tilt

Cuttino Mobley continued his splendid showing as Power overwhelmed Ghost Ballers, 51-29, in the fourth week of the BIG3 3-on-3 basketball league at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Sunday (Monday in Manila).

The hometown boy Mobley sizzled with a game-high 20 points as Power rebounded from a loss in its previous game and seized its third win in four games.

DeShawn Stevenson chipped in 17 points built on a 50 percent shooting clip from beyond the arc while Jerome Williams tallied a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Main man Mike Bibby was held to a measly 11 points as Ghost Ballers dropped to an even 2-2 win-loss record.

In the second game, Rashard Lewis put up a solid performance as he propelled 3 Headed Monsters to a 51-46 win over Killer 3’s.

Lewis, a one-time National Basketball Association champion and two-time All-Star player, pumped in 30 points on top of 10 rebounds as 3 Headed Monsters improved to 3-1.

Killer 3’s fell to 1-3 after missing the services of former Detroit playmaker Chauncey Billups.

Trilogy remained unscathed in four games as it leaned on Rashad McCants to stifle Ball Hogs, which slid to 2-2.

Meanwhile, Allen Iverson was unable to play due to injury as 3’s Company (1-3) bowed down to Tri-State (1-3).

Iverson announced through an Instagram video that he would sit out and coach his team instead against another Sixers legend and Tri-State mentor Julius Erving.

“To all my fans out there, based on advice from my doctor, I will not be playing in the game tonight for the Big3. I will be there to coach my team and beat Dr. J’s team. I will be interacting with all my fans, and we’ll have a great time and see some great basketball,” said Iverson in the video.

As such, some fans, who are expecting to see “The Answer” on the court, emptied their seats during the game.
