• Power outage hits 3 Bataan towns

ORION, Bataan: Three towns in Bataan province suffered nine-hour         power outages on Friday after the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) replaced the insulators for its 69 kilo-volt line segment here. Ernest Lorenz Vidal, NGCP public affairs officer, said the towns of Orion, Bagac and Morong were without power from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. due to their scheduled repair works. The Peninsula Electric Cooperative, which distributes electricity in Bataan, also timed some repairs for its 10 MVA sub-station in Orion to prevent another outage.
