MOST private school teachers have decided to cancel their Christmas parties this year in deference to the victims of super typhoon Yolanda [international name: Haiyan] in Visayas and the allotted money for this event will be donated instead to the typhoon victims.
Eleazardo Kasilag, president of the Federation of Associations of Private Schools & Administrators (Fapsa), said a simple celebration will be held but there are no kris kringle, no parlor games, no exchange gifts for the teachers and administrators.
