“The new cars will be used to patrol the strategic areas. It will boost the capability of the police to patrol the different barangays 24 hours a day,” Estomo said.
The provincial police work under a banner that calls for police service to be Seen, Appreciated, Felt and Experienced by the people they serve.
The latest donation of patrol cars brought to 50 the total number of vehicles donated by the province to the police force since Remulla came to power in 2010. The donation included gasoline consumption and maintenance of the patrol cars.
Remulla cautioned people not to put political meaning on his donation because he wants to help the police do their job in maintaining peace and order in the province.
