The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) said it will procure for P9.11 billion a combined 252.86 million liters of industrial fuel oil (IFO) to ensure sustained operations this year of seven state-owned power plants.
It said in a bid invitation to interested suppliers that it will purchase 115 million liters of industrial fuel for the Western Mindanao Power Corp. in Sarangani, 60 million liters for the Southern Philippines Power Corp. in Zamboanga City, 36.16 million liters for the Naga Power Plant Complex in Cebu, 26.5 million liters for the Malaya Thermal Power Plant in Rizal, 9.83 million liters for Power Barge 104 in Davao City and 5.37 million liters for the twin power barges 101 and 102 of the plant in Iloilo.
