Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank), the thrift bank arm of the Metrobank Group, and Security Bank Corp. on Friday issued advisories that most bank operations would be suspended on Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1, in observance of the All Saints’ Day holiday.
In its advisory, PSBank said all its branches will be closed on October 31 and November 1.
“Meanwhile, all our 611 ATMs will be online and PSBank Mobile and PSBank Online will be available for your banking transactions,” the bank said.
Payrolls falling on those dates will still be processed, the bank added.
Debit accounts with due dates on these will be debited on November 2 without penalties, but payments will be valued on its original due date.
Check clearing will be suspended on both days, while late checks received on October 28 will be processed on November 2.
No penalties will be charged for checks intended for PSBank loan payments dated October 31 and November 1.
Time deposits with maturities on these dates will also be processed on November 2.
PSBank currently operates 255 branches and 611 ATMs.
Meanwhile, Security Bank Corp. is suspending its bank operations on October 31 and November 1, except for its branches in Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which will remain open for limited hours on October 31.
In an advisory, Security Bank said all its bank branches will be closed on the two dates but its two NAIA branches — one at the arrival lobby of Terminal 1 and another at Terminal 3 — will be open from 11 AM to 7 PM on October 31 only.
“The banking public is advised to do their banking transactions by October 28, Friday, to avoid inconvenience. Regular operations of all branches will resume on November 2, Wednesday,” the bank said.
“During these days [Monday and Tuesday], Security Bank Online and all Security Bank ATMs are available to serve customers’ banking needs,” it added.
The bank also advised the public of few branches that have Saturday operations, which include: Alimall Cubao branch; Blumentritt; Balanga; CDO-Limketkai in Cagayan de Oro; Cebu Business Park in Cebu City; Davao-Monteverde in Davao; E. Rodriguez-SLMC in Quezon City; Fort Bonifacio-SLMC in Bonifacio Global City (BGC); General Santos; two branches along Mandaue-North Road; Market! Market! in BGC; NAIA and NAIA Terminal 3; Sta. Elena in Binondo; Sta. Rosa-Greenfield; Tagbilaran; and Tuguegarao in Cagayan.
