Branches of Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be closed during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders Meeting on November 18 to 19, 2015.
The dates have been declared by Malacañang as special non-working holiday in the NCR, as part of the country’s hosting of the year-long event.
PSBank, in a statement Thursday, however, assured its clients that the bank will still provide payroll crediting schedule during the said special holiday.
For automatic debit agreement, the bank said all accounts with due dates on the said dates would be debited on Nov. 20 and payments would be valued on its original due date without penalties.
For clearing and settlement, processing will resume on Nov. 20 and no penalties will be charged for checks due on the said two days.
Meanwhile, the Metrobank Group’s thrift banking arm said all its provincial branches will be open on November 18 to 19 and all its 610 automated teller machines (ATMs) nationwide will be online.
