SHARE prices fell further in early trading on Monday as investors continued to pocket earlier gains in the absence of fresh market-moving incentives.
At the noon break, the bellwether index shed 1.02 percent or 83.28 points to 8,060.74. The broader All Shares lost 0.97 percent or 46.55 points to 4,739.41.
“[There is] no new good news to propel the market so there was continued profit-taking,” BDO Capital and Investments Corp. President Ed Francisco said.
All sectors were in the red, with the property index the biggest decliner, retreating by 1.41 percent. ANGELICA BALLESTEROS
