Philippine Swimming League (PSL) standouts, seven year-old Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh, 10-year old Isis Arnaldo, and 15 year-old Martin Jacob Pupos won three gold medals each in the 67th Leg Series of PSL dubbed as the 2nd Gov. David Suarez Swimming Competition held at Alcala Sports Complex in Lucena, Quezon.
Mojdeh ruled the 50-meter backstroke, 50m breaststroke, 100m butterfly and 50m freestyle. She also broke the standing record in the 50m backstroke.
Arnaldo dominated the 200 Individual Medley (IM), 50m backstroke, 50m breaststroke , and 50m freestyle.
Pupos won the 200m IM, 50m backstroke and 100m butterfly before breaking the existing record in the 100m butterfly.
All aforementioned swimmers will be part of the 60-man strong Philippine contingent in the Royal Bangkok Swimming Championship on November.
“We are not getting tired to go outside Manila to continue develop our grassroots developmental program nationwide,” said PSL President Susan Papa.
The 67th Leg series was hosted by the Quezon Killer Whales club headed by PSL Regional Director Virgilio de Luna.
The other gold medalists were Aidepp De Luna, Nicole Camacho, Jasmine Del Moro, Alyzza Marie Palermo, Tricia Mae Capistrano, Christine De Luna, Bela Louise Magtibay, Rein Labay, Angelica Mae Medrano, Audrey Ybañez, Jackelyn Calvadores, Ythnmthw Orellana, Carlos Arenas, Flynn Tan, John Rala, Yoshimichi Maruo, Rio Lorenzo Malapitan, Rizalino Cortez 3rd, Edrian Laureta, Jordan Lobos, Dave Tiquia, Ferdinand Trinidad, Mervier Maradilla, Iñaki Lorbes, Lorenzo Perez, Lancelot Abadia, Cites Manzo, Akira Maruo, Martin Pupos, Lans Rawlin Donato, Sean Elijah Enero, Jeffrey Hirao, Abdulrahim Nooh, Aldrick Formaran and D”Xiamen Dumaguit.
