ZAMBOANGA CITY: The House of Representatives has scheduled the conduct of the series of public hearings on the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) in the different parts of Mindanao.
Second district Rep. Lilia Nuño said on Thursday four clusters were created to conduct the hearings next month.
Nuño said Cluster 1 will be in charge of the public hearings in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga City.
Nuño said the hearings in Tawi-Tawi and Zamboanga City will be held on November 13 and 14, respectively.
She said the schedules of hearing in Basilan, Sulu and Zamboanga Sibugay have yet to be finalized.
Nuño said those who will be invited to attend the public hearings are from the religious, business, academe, and industrial sectors, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and other stakeholders.
Once approved, the BBL will create the Bangsamoro core territory that will replace the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
