Pulse disowns survey with Duterte leading

Pollster Pulse Asia on Monday disowned a survey showing Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte taking the lead in the presidential race.

A post on the “Pompee La Viña – Duterte 2016” falsely claimed that Duterte was chosen by 26 percent of 4,000 respondents as their top presidential bet.

Sen. Grace Poe, with 24 percent, allegedly dropped to second place in the fabricated March 21-25 survey supposedly conducted by Pulse Asia.

Meanwhile, administration bet Manuel Roxas 2nd supposedly scored 21 percent, while Vice President Jejomar Binay got 19 percent.

The false survey has garnered over 1,500 “likes” and has been shared more than 1,300 times, as of posting time.

In a statement, Pulse Asia clarified that it did not conduct the survey.

“It has come to our attention that a survey allegedly conducted from March 21 to 25 for ABS-CBN is being attributed to Pulse Asia. We did not conduct said survey,” it said.

“We do not conduct surveys during Holy Week, Holy Thursday and Good Friday in particular,” the polling firm added.

  1. It is true that this survey is very credible, and it did not even mention that Mindanao is SOLID Duterte, and most areas in Visayas such as Cebu are voting for Duterte. It might even possible that Duterte will win Pangasinan, a so called home province of Grace’s Daddy, because that was the first place Duterte introduced Federalism, a concept that the Central government must equally distribute its wealth throughout the country. The Pulse of Asia is controlled by the other candidates.

  2. this survey by pulse asia which they disowned is more credible than what they were doing before.this is more believebable .for the first time since they started the presidential survey they came out with the truth and i will not give any impression on their survey as false.
