It probably would be good news for motorists this early that oil companies are set to roll back prices of petroleum products effective today.
In separate advisories, Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Seaoil and PTT Philippines over the weekend said they will slash prices of gasoline by 95 centavos per liter and diesel by 80 centavos per liter starting Monday.
Except for Phoenix, which will roll back prices at 6 a.m., oil forms will cut prices at 12:01 a.m.
Petron, Shell and Seaoil will also lower price of its kerosene by P1.25 per liter.
According to the oil firms, the price cuts “reflect movements in the international petroleum market.”
Last week, they raised prices of gasoline by 30 centavos per liter and kerosene by10 centavos per liter.
