Wedding Essentials, the ultimate guide for the modern Filipina bride and The Manila Hotel, the country’s premier five star hotel, welcomed back friends of the hotel, media partners, wedding suppliers, real-life couples, and soon-to-wed brides and grooms on October 1 at the magnificent Fiesta Pavilion for “Tadhana 2016.”

A bridal exhibit transpired featuring some of the best wedding suppliers in the country on the occasion of the 12th year anniversary of the magazine. Among those who celebrated this milestone were event stylists Gideon Hermosa and Gina Galang, fashion designers Frederick Peralta and Jo Rubio, cakes of Penk Ching and Judy Uson, and invitation stylists Printsonalities and The Write Impression.

Welcoming guests and participants was The Manila Hotel president former senator Joey Lina, as everyone was treated to sumptuous heavy cocktails and unlimited desserts prepared by no less than the talented culinary team of the iconic hotel.

The “Tadhana 2016 Fashion Show” featured beautiful creations by budding designers Happy Andrada, Jot Losa, Manelle Chamian, Mikee Andrei, Yvette Ilagan and Choc Religioso worn by models who walked down the runway gracefully in impeccably designed bridal wear. Lucky guests took home prizes raffled off by The Manila Hotel and participating suppliers.

“For 12 years, we have given you thousands of pages of pure bridal inspiration and I promise you that we will continue to do so. As long as there are couples who love, and dream of their perfect wedding, Wedding Essentials will be here with you,” said editor-in-chief Kitten Zapata.

The best and most inspiring wedding stories of thirty real-life couples that have proven that love conquers all in the Real Weddings Issue has been one of the highlights of the evening.

Positioned as the true heart of the Philippines, The Manila Hotel is the country’s premier five-star and flagship hotel. It is located at One Rizal Park, Kilometer 0, Manila.
