Bulacan Police conducted a buy-bust wherein one drug trafficker was killed, while fourteen others were arrested for carrying illegal drugs, firearms and certain ammunitions. A suspected drug pusher, Andrew Eser, was killed after he engaged operatives of Bulacan police during a buy-bust at Barangay Antipona, Bocaue town on Thursday night. His live-in partner, Lorie Ana Legaspi, was also arrested. Both are residents of Brgy. Antipona, Bocaue, Bulacan. Supt. Jowen Dela Cruz, Bocaue chief of police, said 20 sachets of shabu, a caliber 38 revolver loaded with five live bullets, one fired shell, four spent shells for caliber 9mm and P300 buy-bust money were recovered from the crime scene. Meanwhile, the 13 other arrested suspects were identified as Quirino Tacata Jr, Jomer Dela Cruz, Jose Manolito Molina, Justine Galang, Herminio Villanueva, Ravenal Carpio, Raphycris Sandoval, Eric Sta Maria, Michael Angelo Guevarra, Edwin Hernandez, Mark Gonzales, Rosalie Makabilin, Joan Ariola Villanueva and a 17-year-old boy. Police seized 44 sachets of shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia during separate buy-busts in the towns of Calumpit, Balagtas, Bustos, Guiguinto, San Miguel, Santa Maria and Marilao.
