BALANGA CITY, Bataan: Police shot dead a suspected drug pusher who reportedly fired shots but missed hitting a poseur-buyer at dawn of Thursday here. Police Supt. Joel Tampis, city police chief, said Bryan Castañares of Limay, Bataan, was about to hand over a sachet of shabu to a police asset near Camacho village when he sensed trouble and drew his .38 caliber revolver. He shot the poseur buyer but missed three times. Castañares became the 17th victim in drug-related shootouts with Bataan police since July 1, 2016.
