TEHRAN: Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obama discussed the agenda of the international conference on Syria to open in Montreux on January 22, in a phone talk on Tuesday night, the Kremlin press service reported.

Presidents Putin and Obama also touched upon a number of other issues of mutual interest, including the implementation of the November 24, 2013 nuclear deal on settling dispute over the Iranian nuclear program.
