QATAR leaned on five players to beat Jordan, 75-61, while Iran demolished India, 102-58, on Monday remaining unbeaten in Group E and Group F respectively in the second round elimination of the 27th FIBA-Asia Men’s Basketball Championship at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The 6’8 Jarvis Hayes, a 10th overall pick by the Washington Wizards in 2003, finished with 15 points to lead Qatar into its fourth straight victory.
