The Quezon City government had designated alternative routes that motorists can take to avoid the expected heavy vehicular traffic near the Batasang Pambansa on Monday when President Rodrigo Duterte will deliver his second State of the Natiion Address (SONA).

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar said Commonwealth Avenue will not be closed to vehicle traffic. The city had also cancelled classes on July 24, but traffic jams are expected because of the activities and demonstrations of various cause-oriented groups.
