QC helps to rehabilitate Marinduque Public Market

THE Quezon City Council has approved a resolution authorizing Mayor Herbert Bautista to extend P1.5 million financial assistance to Marinduque province for the rehabilitation of a public market in Santa Cruz town destroyed by Typhoon Niña in 2016. This was in response to Santa Cruz Mayor Red Martinez’s request for assistance after the devastating typhoon. Bautista said that the humanitarian assistance his administration extends to areas hit by destructive man-made or natural calamities is an extension of gratitude for the continuous growth of the city’s economy and an expression of sympathy to the inhabitants of these areas.
