QC tourism summit proposed


THE Quezon City Council on Tuesday passed a resolution urging the citys tourism department to conduct a consultative summit for creating economical educational tour packages that will promote the historical, cultural heritage and educational sites in the city. Proposed by Councilor Aly Medalla of District 5, the resolution suggests that tour operators, travel agents, the Division of City Schools and other stakeholders should be invited to the consultative summit. Quezon City has developed and maintained various historical and cultural heritage sites and educational centers like the Quezon Memorial Circle , Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, La Mesa Dam Eco-Park, Quezon City Science Interactive Center , and the Quezon Heritage House, among others.
