‘Queenie’ stranded passengers now at 4,229


The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) announced that the number of seagoing passengers stranded by inclement weather and rough waves, caused by Tropical Depression “Queenie” has now hit the 4,229 mark.

This figure was sourced from the various ports serving the Central, Eastern and Western Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Palawan.

Vessels prevented from leaving numbered to 124 with rolling stocks at 308 rolling cargoes alongside with 33 motor bancas. PNA
