LUCENA CITY: Gov. David “Jayjay” Suarez of Quezon led the distribution of various medical and laboratory equipment to public hospitals through the assistance of the Department of Energy and the Mauban and Pagbilao coal-fired power plants.

Some of the medical equipment given to Alabat Island District Hospital were two units of Baxtel standby aneroid (mercury free) sphygmomanometer; two units of Baxtel desk/wall type aneroid (mercury free) sphygmomanometer; and one unit of Geister Cautery Machine ESU-X200NT. The Bondoc Peninsula District Hospital in Catanauan received three units of Provita mobile lamp with gooseneck arm on mobile roller base; and six units of ERKA VARIO Basic stand aneroid adult.

  1. I don’t understand while there is abundant supply of water for hydroelectric, policy
    makers still go for imported materials. Caliraya is good. Further development will help
    more electric production. Enviromentally clean.
