President Rodrigo Duterte early this week signed into law Republic Act 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. Lawmakers said that the law was crafted to attract more foreign investments to the Philippines. Various business groups readily lauded this development as a positive step in helping the private sector in growing the economy.
