Elements of the Kibungan Police Office raided on Monday and Tuesday a marijuana plantation in Barangay Tacadang, Kibungan town, Benguet province and destroyed P3.2-million worth of marijuana plants. However, the police failed to arrest any cultivator like the recent five plantation raids in Benguet Province and another in Tinglayan town, Kali-nga province. Sr. Supt. Davy Limmong, public information officer of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (Procor), said that this accomplishment is part of the sustained anti-drug operations of the Philippine National Police in the Cordillera region, known for its marijuana plantations.
