Several provinces in Luzon will continue to have rains even as typhoon Dindo is on its way out, the weather bureau said Saturday.
“Dindo” was 1,340 km east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes at 6 p.m. yesterday. It was packing maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 195 kph. It is forecast to move east northeast at 15 kph.
The weather bureau warned against flashfloods and landslides in Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Ilocos region, CALABARZON, Mindoro, and Palawan because of monsoon rains.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains will prevail over the rest of Luzon and Western Visayas.
