Touted as the loudest and most exciting all-OPM festival in the country, Rakrakan Festival will feature 70 mainstream and indie musicians spread in three different stages: Mosh, which will play heavy rock, hardcore and metal music from Slapshock, Queso, Wilabaliw, Chicosci, Kjwan, to name a few; Move which will have Urbandub (the band’s last reported gig before their hiatus), Rocksteddy, Callalily, Mayonnaise, Gracenote, and 6cyclemind, among others, playing alternative rock, pop rock; and finally, Groove which will invite “chill” bands such as Tropical Depression, Brownman Revival, Jeck Pilpil and Peacepipe, The Chongkeys, Autotelic, Flying Ipis, and more, for the reggae-heads.

And to give rakistas the ultimate festival experience, Rarkarakan will also have Merch Bazaar featuring about 60 local brands, a food bazaar, an open skate session and competition, and a new street art exhibition. Also included in the lineup of activities are face painting, henna tattooing, band meet-and-greet and Segway rides around the venue, and so much more!

Tickets are still available at the venue. Gates will open at 1 p.m.
