Batangas: The police has formally filed cases of robbery and intimidation against three suspected members of the New People’s Army and 12 others for burning construction equipment in Nasugbu town on May 3, 2014. Senior Supt. Omega Jireh Fidel, the Batangas police director, identified the suspects as Leslie Cresino alias Dasia/Jesie/Olay; Remoso Franco and Michael Cabrera. Fidel said the three were members of the NPA’s Komite Probinsya ng Batangas or Komprob-Batangas. The three rebels and their 12 other comrades allegedly burned two bulldozers, three backhoes, one grader, one road roller, one pay loader and one water tanker truck with an estimated cost of P25 million pesos owned by Dionisio Toreja of the Toreja Construction Company.
