THE New PeopleÕs Army on Tueday released the four policemen they held captive for nearly a month after the Armed Forces of the Philippines agreed to suspend military operations in some areas of Surigao del Norte and Agusan del Norte.
Freed were PO3 Vic Calubag Concom, PO1 Rey Oniel Morales, PO1 Joen Zabala and PO1 Edito Roquino, who were taken by the rebels under the group of Jorge "Ka Oris Madlos" after storming the Alegria Municipal Police station in Surigao del Norte on July 10.
