• Recidivist shabu pusher nabbed anew

LEGAZPI CITY: After facing three illegal-drug related cases, Analyn Pineda was arrested by members of the Philippine National Police again for selling methamphetamine hydrochloride (more popularly known as shabu) in Barangay Napo, Polangui town, Albay. Senior Police Insp. Jan King Calipay, newly installed Polangui police chief, said his team went to arrest Pineda after the court ordered to have her re-arrested for failing to attend the hearings in court. Pineda is enjoying temporary freedom after posting a total of P440,000 in bail bond. But when the police made the arrest, they were able to find a sachet of shabu in her possession. Calipay added that Pineda may no longer be allowed to post bail after bail jumping (a term given to an incident where an accused fails to show up in court hearings). Calipay said his office will file another complaint for the “recidivist pusher” if the laboratory examinations would show that the sachets taken from her recently contained shabu.
