THE body of a Red Cross trainee, earlier reported missing on Wednesday while undergoing basic water safety training in Subic Bay, was found floating in the bay waters. Reports said the body of Rodelio Ramos, 56, of Barangay Mabayuan in Olongapo City, Zambales, was found floating by a fisherman at about 8 a.m. on Saturday. Chief Insp. Gerald Licyayo, 301st Maritime police station chief, said that Ramos disappeared while participating in a one-mile swimming activity by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Olongapo Chapter at Driftwood Beach in Barangay Baretto. Ramos, a lifeguard at a hotel in Subic Bay Freeport, was with 18 other Red Cross trainees.
